As of October 2025, the U.S. government offers bounties for several current and former Venezuelan officials through its Narcotics Rewards Program. The rewards are for information leading to the arrest or conviction of those charged with offenses like narco-terrorism and drug trafficking.

For the sake of scale and comparison, following the 2001 Al Qaeda attacks on the US, a $25 million bounty was placed on Osama bin Laden.  

Current Venezuelan Bounties

 

Nicolás Maduro Moros 

  • Reward: $50 million.
  • Position: President of Venezuela.
  • Allegations: The reward was increased in August 2025 and is offered for information leading to his arrest or conviction for narco-terrorism and cocaine importation conspiracies. The U.S. has accused him of leading the “Cartel of the Suns” and working with other drug cartels.

Diosdado Cabello Rondón Diosdado Cabello Rondón 

  • Reward: $25 million.
  • Position: President of Venezuela’s National Constituent Assembly.
  • Allegations: Charged with narco-terrorism and cocaine importation conspiracies.

 


Vladimir Padrino López Vladimir Padrino López 

  • Reward: $15 million.
  • Position: Venezuelan Minister of Defense.
  • Allegations: Accused of complicity in drug trafficking conspiracies.

 


Hugo Armando Carvajal BarriosHugo Armando Carvajal Barrios

  • Reward: $10 million.
  • Position: Former Venezuelan Director of Military Intelligence.
  • Allegations: Charged with narco-terrorism, cocaine importation conspiracies, and weapons offenses.

Cliver Antonio Alcalá CordonesCliver Antonio Alcalá Cordones

  • Reward: $10 million.
  • Position: Former Venezuelan Major General.
  • Allegations: Charged with narco-terrorism, cocaine importation, and weapons offenses.

 

 


Tareck Zaidan El Aissami Maddah

  • Reward: $10 million.
  • Position: Former Venezuelan Vice President.
  • Allegations: Accused of facilitating drug shipments from Venezuela.

Pedro Luis Martin-Olivares

  • Reward: $10 million.
  • Position: Former Venezuelan intelligence official.
  • Allegations: Accused of aiding drug trafficking activities.

Joselit de la Trinidad Ramirez Camacho

  • Reward: $5 million.
  • Position: Superintendent of Cryptocurrency.
  • Allegations: Added to ICE’s Most Wanted list in June 2025 and accused of ties to narcotics trafficking kingpins.

Jesus Alfredo Itriago

  • Reward: $5 million.
  • Position: Former Venezuelan counter-narcotics official.
  • Allegations: Accused of aiding drug trafficking.

Rodolfo McTurk-Mora

  • Reward: $5 million.
  • Position: Former Venezuelan Interpol official.
  • Allegations: Accused of aiding drug trafficking.
