Developing A Spiritual Worldview Newsletter Series

The reelection of Donald Trump presents a significant shift in the status quo and what lies ahead for the nation, the world, and (notably when it comes to the purposes of this newsletter) Christians. The coming months will present an era defined by darkness and deception. We are entering into times that are not unprecedented but critically significant to the standards of truth, righteousness, and the purposes of God within the homes and churches of believers.

Darkness is often disguised as light. Deception is frequently represented as truth. When Jesus spoke about the inevitability of trying and consequential times, He repeatedly warned that His followers not be deceived amid the darkness and deception (Matthew 24, Luke 21). To that end, for the next few weeks, this newsletter will focus on Developing a Spiritual Worldview. Each weekly issue to the end of 2024 will present an encouraging and Biblically-based insight inviting believers to see the world differently. As we brace for what is coming, we can have hope rather than fear when we see the world as Jesus saw it. As He taught us, when the darkness is rising, we can look up, for our redemption draws near (Luke 21:28).

Faith and spirituality are relegated to the ranks of superstition and happy thoughts, but they are not worthy of dominating our worldview.
