About JB

I’m JB Shreve—an author, podcast host, and lifelong student of history, faith, and the world around us. My work begins with a desire to understand how we got here, what matters in the events unfolding around us, and how to live with a faith grounded in Scripture.

I’ve spent my life in the highlands of western Arkansas, where my wife, Casie, and I raised our three children. From 1998 to 2008, I worked in international ministry in various roles with organizations including Bill Glass Prison Ministries, the Christian Motorcyclists Association, and Open Doors with Brother Andrew.

I earned degrees in International Relations and Middle East Studies through the Fulbright College and King Fahd Center for Middle East Studies at the University of Arkansas before moving into the corporate business sector. Those experiences continue to inform the questions I ask about people, nations, belief, and the forces shaping our lives.

In 2005, our family moved to northwest Arkansas to join a team building a new church, Transformation Center. I continue to serve in an active leadership role there. Faith, family, and the life of our local church remain central to who I am.

I host the JB Shreve & the End of History podcast where we explore current events, history, and the social and political questions facing our generation – all from a Biblical-based Kingdom worldview.
